ae86 design

Hi there
I need help, for visual communication (drawing stuff) we have been told to design what ever we want so I have decided to re-design the ae86 for the year 2008 trouble is I can't design it any better then what it already is, it's prefect. So I'm wondering what your ideas are.

I agree you cant do anything to it, if you did it just wouldnt be an 86.
Maybe if you re-designed a stocker to be released as a pro drift special edition for competition only?

or you could just redesign something else...

yeh i think so 2 ^^^ make a drift spec or race spec like they do with subaru's and shit if u do that it would be good

How about you just forget about the 86 for a minute and design a small, rwd lightweight sportscar? Just imagine if you were buying a brand new car with the same qualities that make the ae86 kick arse

Wheres your imagination guys!? Of course you can revamp a design for a modern version of the AE86! Look at what Ford designers did with the Mustang, the Shelby Cobra etc... Even GMH with their re-incarnation of the FC Holden! All classic shapes that were redesigned into a modern interpretation with successful results.

I would start by picking out certain aspects of the AE86's design that make it an AE86! Look for certain design cue's that instantly make the AE86 recognisable as an AE86. Then try to update the overall design to something futuristic whilst retaining the design cues of the classic design
