    hey,

would of imagined this would of been coverd more than it has..

what struts can i use my jdm calipers on? will get new rotors to go with them.

some people recon you can put them on aus spec struts? with rotors.. i know there are plenty of people out there who have jdm items on the bus's...

was thinking of going 86 struts anyway for my 71' cause of the bigger choice/availability of springs, and shocks

    thanks

Yes ADM struts are identical to JDM and the caliper bolts straight on (is baslically the same caliper but spaced out to fit over the wider vented disc). Hubs are identical. Only difference is the strut top which gives more castor on the JDM struts.

If you want the castor you can use the ke70/ae71 strut tops anyway.

Just as a sidenote you can buy adjustable ke70 strut tops through k-mac and noltec if you want more castor as well

thanks guys, wasn't 100% sure if they would bolt up or not, they dont seem too diffrent to most other calipers, t-18, ae71 etc.. only seem that the ability to fit the ventilated rotors, and not having to shave pads to have i big choice in pads...

cheers, now just have to find some struts.....

if you still have the calipers off the car you should also look at getting them rebuilt, Im doing this with my pair atm, even though they are in good condition they still are 20 year old brakes

yes have rebuild kits for them, im replacing everything while im at it, as i have stated im not in dier need for these, just build them up as i go. replacing fairly much everything while im at it, the only used parts will be the struts and calipers, so barings, studs, braided lines, pads, rotors, and any other thing that looks like it has been on there 20od years.... lol
