    No, not same.

May work but never took to either with a tape measure.

I can safely say, that a Ke70 pedal box and a AE86 pedal box are completly different and wont swap over to either car.

the AE86 one, is in 2 parts and the Ke70 one bolts to the steering coloum and the AE86 on bolts to the bar that runs the length of the dash.

    NOT THE SAME!!

And re this thread, I have a KE70 (but its not Aus spec its United Kingdom spec! and not everything fits as it should do on mine.
Here are a few things I round out on mine.....

    • Front adj camber strut tops not the same diamiter as ae86, so had to use KP style one insted but this is only on early KE70 here.

    • AE86 radiator not direct fit, bots to car differently (AE86 has brackets to bolt them on, so these need to be made if running a AE86 radiator.

    • AE71 gearbox x member not a direct fit had to widesn hole abou 1 cm to get bolt through.

    • AE86 fuel tank not direct swap into KE, need to modfiy filler neck to fit KE.

    • AE86 seats do ot fit KE, they are about 1cm out on one bolt hole.

    • KE70 hubs and brakes not the same as AE86 items and need AE86 steering arms to fit.

    • Heater hoses are diferent so when adding a 4age one of them is upside down (easy problem to fix)

    • JDM quad lights do not fit flat front - front ends, without minor mods.

this i know that DO WORK!!!

    • Once a ae86 xmember is is, the 4age bolts in nice and gearbox clears tunnel just like ae86.

    • AE86 rear axel a direct swap but no rear arb on KE70's

    • You need a ae71 pedal box to run a 4age with T50 and makes it easy to do the T50 with hydrolic clutch.

    • Ae86 rear suspension a direct swap.

    • T50 lines up perfect with a Ke (manual) tunnel and no cutting required.

    • propshaft is the same length on a KE as a ae86 so no problems there.

    • 14x8j wheels suit KE's best!

    • Ke70, with 4age work, and look 100's better than a AE86!

    hope this helps anyone...

    Okay, to sum it up.

PANEL VANS, NOT WAGONS came with the same struts / brakes / steering rack / diff as an ADM sprinter.

Feel free to correct me on any of these matters.

    Javal.
You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?
