the 4-ac isnt too bad, dont expect too much from it though u wont be dissappointed with the power although thats not what its all about if u want a sprinter to go sideways in, the 4-ac has plenty of power to get the ass end out, but requires techneque(spelling) i say buy your sprinter and make the most of what u have, IMO you are better off doing the suspension before more power and get used to your car, then you will be able to slide it even better with more power...

true, get some nice stiff springs and some kyb shocks, dave lawson's you man for this, as well as some bitey brake pads and you are laughing.. also if you are planning on keeping the 4ac for roughly a year, you may want to put a better carby on. this will give it maybe 5-10 extra hp depending on what you actually get, but it will make it alot more responsive.

also with regards to the 4ac, keep a bit of oil, or change it and keep the water in it and it sould be quite reliable. depending on how hard you drive it it should last you quite a while, but dont fret if it blows as you can get another very cheap, or a slightly newer fwd one and swap the exessories (water pump, manifolds etc..).

if you are wanting to slide it, get some nice grippy tyres for the front (15"s are better, or atleast 14"s) and some low grips for the rear (stockies), alot tell you not to use tyres with low grip (nissan drivers) you must with 4ac power.. this probaly wont be able to do much on the track (i dont think im allowed to encourage you to drift on the street as its probaly against the forum rules). anyway im rambeling, but it should be a fun car
