Considering I'll only be paying 200 for the engine it will probably still work out cheaper but I'll keep researching
    Thanks again for the advice

probably not. doesnt sound like your too hooked up.

you can buy 4ag's for that much and less sometimes.

what youre basically doing is going into un charted territory, to "try" to save money.

its not gonna work.. theres a reason no one else has done it

have to agree with slydar. as a ameteur myself who just did the simplest of conversions 4age into sprinter.
it works out to be more than most people think or say. theres alot of little things that you dont realise until you get to it. not just money wise but time consuming also. so with something like this just to get all the little things worked out would end up adding up in money and time.

    just my thoughts.

    Thanks for the advice
I'm thinking I'll go down the 4age road seems like too much hassle and problems as I want my car off the road for the shortest possible amount of time

    do a bigport 4age

pretty easy drag and drop in

i got a complete bottom end block and cylinder head with the waterpump suited for rwd, ill give it to you for 200 bucks

save yourself doing all the lil tricks and mods, and spend it on the 4age powah!!

200 is expensive for a 4afe... you can get bigports for that price, i paid $150 for 3 very recently. Just look around and ask people in the know.
you could spend the money to convert it, but i'd be sure you'd regret doing it after.
