What the go with T series diffs in coronas. Are they any good for the 70s, 71s and 86s?
What mods need to be done? I'm sure there is.

Coronas dont come with T-series diffs.... they have crappy Borg Warners or the IRS versions have F-series diffs.

Um, thanks Eddie. Some Coronas come with T series diffs. In fact most RWD Coronas with live axle outside Australia would have T series diffs. I think only the XT130 and ST141 had BorgWarner diffs. I know the RT132 (liftback) does have a T series, and I got one. It can be used in a AE86. It is probably similar or the same as a RA40 rear end, in that the mounts almost line up. You would need a adjustable panhard rod or something. The whole housing is wider, but only by about 10 or 15mm.
From memory, the older Coronas also like RT104 had a Toyota diff.
One issue is that the Corona diffs often have a ratio like 3.9:1, but the Celica diffs have a 4.1:1 ratio which is better. It all swaps over.
yeah, i also have a T series from a corona lift back, also took front struts and LCA's speaking of which, does anybody know if they are the same length as a XT130 LCA? ad assume they are but might be wrong.
the diff is 1420mm from drum to drum from memory, came from a manual car but im unshure of ratio as i havnt had a good look at it yet.
Yep yep, sorry dudes... im so used to only looking for ST141/RT142s Coronas for the brakes that i forgot about the others! RT104/132s are the ones with the T-series. RT104s come with a 4.1 ratio dont they?
