    hey guys

im looking to spray my bumpers in a couple of days.
at the moment they're a shitty faded grey colour and i want to spray them black and i was just wondering what sort of paint will do the trick.
should i just use matt black coz i dont really want a perfect job at the moment i just want them to look like the black from the factory black bumpers.

    thanks guys

lightly sand and then clean down your existing bumpers all over with thinners and a rag, to get all the amourall off them.. it may not look like it.. but that shit will be there garunteed! you spray it on your dash and it will find its way out through the air vents under the car and end up on yoru rear bumper!!!..

on my front and rear bars i used Septone Bumper Primer (satin/matt black) only.. i didn't use the top coat, the primer looks heaps better!, you might need 2 cans.. there not cheap if your a tightarse.. bout $13 a can.. but worth it..

Bumper spray 2-3 cans for front and rear, matt black or saturn black , 2-3 light coats and it comes up looking a million bucks. Coats only take 10 minutes to dry so you can have your bumpers off, painted and back on within a few hours.

Make sure you use proper bumper primer, or else it will peel within a month guaranteed
k&h or septone as matty said are good brands, will say bumper primer or something on it...

I used bumper black that I got at super cheap. I did no preparation and sprayed it on. Then I used the rest of the can to spray other random bits. It still looked good a few months later when I sold it.

Definitely use the bumper paint others have mentioned, give it a good clean with thinners and hit it with that, it comes up looking factory new!! I have done it with my bumpers and they were pretty sh*tty looking before hand!

Hey Highlife, your bumpers are magic, they can float all by them-selves and look the goods too.
    Insert witty comment here....
