Yeah found them yesterday and have recieved an email reply,

so far there deal looks the best as all I want to do is the input shaft and gear on the layshaft, and they stay syncro not dogbox and the price is not too excessive.

Still have a local(ish) guy here who is coming back to me too who does the same.

    DX20VT :

all the W5x box's arnt the same.... the steel plated later model versions had bigger bearings then the early model box's. this has been confirmed on toymods quiet a bit... just hard to tell which one u have without taking it apart

Also, heard good things from albins so i would suggest going with the over PPG ($$$$$$)

Taking them apart is no problem,
and when I say they are all the same,
all the same design and parts are interchangable,
alloy and steel centres can be swapped,
    Syncro's are same and interchangable,
maybe the front case and bearing may be the only difference,
but dont think that will increase the strength by any amount worthwhile.
Just past the point of the strength of the gears.

And dont like the W58's as the 4th-5th gap is too wide,
the W57's suit better for my application.

Just an update to let everyone know what I ended up with.

I now run one of these and it is great,
strong, reliable, and great close ratio's for racing.

And pricewise it was one of the best too.

They are for sale for $4500 NZD, so less than that in $AUD depending on the conversion rate.
