not sure about the pedal box.. tailshaft has to be ae71 or ae86 front, s/t series rear half..
you can get a clutch line custom made.. doesnt cost that much.
Hey, im putting a 4age into a KE70 and its getting harder and harder to find the parts i need, i only need whats in my sig and i rang up a whole heap of wreckers today and none of them have anything. So i was wondering will any parts from a Celica fit, mostly looking at clutch lines and pedal box, has anyone done anything like that?

a corona or cilica borg warner rear diff model tailshaft might fit, but unlikely because of length. all i know is that i used to run an ae71 diff in my corona.
Im more worried about the pedal box aye, might have a tailshaft sorted and can get clutch lines from enzed, need that clutch for the kicky kicky!!
you are stuck with only the proven options my friend.
i can now confirm RA40 and RA60 tailshafts won't work after a phone call yesterday
AE71 pedal box is it. i have used a T18 one before but was not a good fit. bolted to the brake booster section of the firewall fine and the clutch section of the firewall fine. however the bulkhead? behind the dash etc where the top of the pedal box mounts was all wrong and the steering column ends up too low and sits to the right
if you can find one it might pay to have a look and see if you can make a usable one out of it, might need a little fabrication work, but as you said hard to find AE71 items.
to make you feel worse i sold my last AE71 pedal box last week.
clutch line is an easy fix. find a toyota or whatever uses the same size pipe and fittings, make sure the slave is on the same side (so its long enough) rebend it to suit your car. sounds dodge but if you are patient you can get a good result. just don't be too forceful as they can crimp.
Thanks Gilly, i guess i can get clutch lines from a celica aye, and keep searching for the rest of the shit. And yeah i do feel worse nowNah all good.
apparently you can convert the t50 gearbox to cable actuation - so if thats true you wont need to change the clutch setup...
Hmm well if thats true....
go hydraulic man, youve just been unlucky in finding parts. dont skimp on doing things properly, itll just cost you in the future.
