Now i come across this concept and thought id put it to the good people at ae86drivingclub!

what would be the expected cost of this conversion?
Where would one find a kit?
and would it be road legal?

There are many people on the internet with different views of this conversion so i want yours

    regards

Your questions are very vague. Yes you can twincharge any engine, but it'll always be a lot of work and there are many ways to do it.

1 - $5k - $30k for all parts and labour to get it working.

2 - HKS did a kit. It's rare, no longer made and not a particularly good design.

3 - Short answer: No. Long answer: Depends on exactly how you do it, your state, which engineer you use and how many bottles of scotch you slip him.

The twincharge kit is definately not available anymore, go to mr2oc.com if you would like to find out more about twincharging. there is much discussion on there about it. Basically people say that there isnt much use as bb turbos nowadays can spool very quickly, eliminating the need for the sc.
But yes it can be done, the main problem is finding a smooth way to transition the boost from sc to tc

have been twincharged for a while now,
the easyest way to do it is to run air filter>turbo>bov>supercharger>cooler>manifold.
it is simple & it works.
    biggest problem becomes gearbox strength

Ive been reading up i was looking for the easy way as ive done research on your set up, and while it might be ok for running mild boost, if ya run much more it could stuff ya super charger and not be very effective as the SC is restricting the flow of air any ways?

ill PM you any ways in relation to photo's and power figures

But if any one knows where a 2nd or 3rd hand kit is or some one thats willing to help me with this crazy idea please pm me.

    thanks and regards
