CA18DET is an awesome motor and its not hard to get 180rwkw with just EMS injectors I/C and a bigger turbo.. motor box loom combo can be had for $1500 max ( if u look around its cheaper) stock they put out 130kw at the motor.. s13 SR20DET put out 150kw at the motor and internally can take 200-220rwkw day in day out for a few years without too much trouble b4 a rebuild... u can buy kits to mount the motor and box into the ae86 for around $350 ( fo rthe CA18DET) PM SLYDAR i think thats his name

my stock silvertop 4age 20v with just ems quads and 4-1 extractors made 98rwkw at J.E.M.. it definately needs alot more go, next thing id be chasing is 180+rwkw to have sum propper fun hahaha

Search up these forums for the 4AGE swap... just use 4age mounts and matching RWD box and it all bolts in... u might need to swap to an efi tank or install a surge tank and primer pump in the rear..

to wire up the CA18det id recomend an aftermarket computer and to get that wired into the cars loom( saves $$$ later if u want more power eg $350 to wire up the stock ecu then $500 to do the aftermarket one thats $850 instead of just $500 plus computer cost). its not that hard and most places will do it for $500 tow in drive out..

    ^^^boooo.

    4AC's are very capable motors.

Its just that most drivers are not capable of driving them.

^^^ But the most capable-est drivers' engine of choice is definitely the 3K.... with Toyoglide 2speed auto.
