    Car : Toyota Sprinter AE86
    Engine : AE82 4A-GE ( MAP )
    Computer: Stock AE82 Computer
    Fuel Pump: VL commodore
    Lift Pump : Fuel Flow

    Problem:

Car starts nicely after 3 seconds the car dies. The open circuit relay for the fuel pump clicks on and off, fuses are fine. Its a fuel problem i know that for sure but heres the catch. We put a noid light / test light on the relay with accessories on and the fuel pump started to pump. So i thought start it up with the test light running the pump. It WORKED!.. i took off the noid light / test light 3 seconds later the car died again. Is this a grounding problem?

    Help would be much appreciated

    cheers

Its sounds like the same problem as i had with daves (ajps).

Check that while the ignition is on that you have 12v positive power at the injectors and they maybe a bit of a feed back through the other wire.

If there is no power find the yellow wire that goes to the injectors at the ECU and put a fused power to that.

Its abit hard to explain other the net. So if you have anymore probly PM and ill give u my mobile number and you can give me a call
