Well it cost $400 for the conversion kit, in that you get engine mounts to bolt up to the engine cross member and the gearbox cross member to bolt up to the ca18 gearbox.
i have been reading i few things on this site and i see that poeple are selling ca18det conv kits i pm these people and no reply

What other costs are involved (assuming you have a front cut)
you need
engine and box mounts
custom tailshaft (CA box yoke on to the front half of an 86 shaft)
loom, CA loom can be modded to suit
exhaust
fuel system, i would want an intank pump and a surge with external pump. or at LEAST a JDM tank (baffled) and an upgraded intank pump.
front mount and piping.
i have previously been advised to use an oil cooler with a CA as they are very sensitive to oil temp and quality.
head gaskets have known to be a common failure.
best to upgrade radiator as well.
keep your support systems healthy, these engines aren't as a thrashable as 4A's

yeah gilly on the ball but the problem with the ca's is the age and usually the coils start to go. easy fix though with the coils.
