Thread: problem starting

    gotta problem guys

    car is having problem starting. racv checked it for the first time and the guy said its my choke problem and he got it started

    today it had the same problem starting so i called them again
    different guy came and said my headgasket's giving a problem

    both different person and i dont know whats wrong with it

    went to check the batts just now and the guy said the batt isnt the problem.

    but when they jump my batt the car seem like it had more power to start like the cranking gets faster.

    does any1 have this problem as well??

    Alternator?
    possibly not charging right or has some bad connection

    not really good in mechanics stuff tho
    but ill try to look into it.

    alternator's the one charging the batt is it?
    but the lights and radio works fine

    Yup, but it takes a very minimal amount of power to turn on lights and stuff. And quite a bit to crank the motor. But itll be a difinative noise if its not got much charge on the battery. Very slow moving noise..

    If you can get it running id say just get it to the local mechanic

    yeah it cranks but after a few tries it like slows down till it doesnt crank anymore

    mech said the batt's okie
    arghhh
