    hay people just wondering what people know of wolfs as i can get one cheeply but it was running a rotory just wondering if i would need to get it sent back to wolf for a new tune???

    anyhelp???????

    No you don't need to return it to the factory to have it reconfigured ala. Microtech.

    You can just reconfigure it using a laptop or maybe handcontroller. You may be able to do it yourself, or else any competent tuner could do it.

    Then you will also need to tune the thing for your engine.

    you can get maps off the net. so tuning is a piece of piss.

    yep wolfs are good, but remeber when you download a map use it as a base tune, every setup is unique

    does anyone have a map for a bigport 4age 4-2-1 extractors 21/4 system airfilter or anything similar then????? or know of where to get one

    get a map for a 4age (iirc the website has a few) then tune it. dont be lazy

    yeah just takes so long mate pitty i dont have a month or tow to get it all done!!!!

    well ive done some serching and cant really find much does anyone have a site where i can get a map and tell me if this is one??

    That's a 4AGE map for a different ECU by the looks of it. AEM look like they sell ECUs and have a library of maps to suit their ECUs.

    Talk to the boys who make Wolf, they may be able to help. Or talk to your local Wolf tuner.

    But I'll reiterate what Jason has said above. You will need to tune the ECU to suit your engine. Every setup is unique. Even if you find a suitable map, this will just get you started, you may even be able to drive on it, but you will need to have it touched up.

    In any case, by reading the manuals, configuring the thing, then entering some conservative fuel and timing values you could probably get it running from scratch anyway.
