Hey everybody, i recently got my 4age running and i ran it for a bit today and after it got to operating temperature it sounded like it had a lumpy idle, sounded cool but i know its not normal. I remember reading this somewhere on here but i searched and cant remember where i read it, does anyone know the solution to this problem? Thanks in advance.
i'd be looking at vacuum lines dude. there isn't many on a GE. but yeah check them out.
a lot of lumpy idles are vacuum leaks (that i've dealt with anyway)
Would you be pretty sure on that Gilly?
thats one of the things to chek, its not gaurented to be it. Could be fucked fast idle valve or the cold idle valve.
Also note, the Throatle might be wavering. Thats whats happening with mine. Needs a tensioner spring

Oh ok, where abouts are all those things, because ive got all my vaccum lines blocked off so they should be good.

vacume leaks could be any where. But probly probly more prone to the noddle lines. Cold idle valve is the thing on the under side of the TB, you can just rip it off and plate it, many people have done this.

Can anyone tell me what the cold idle valve looks like? Is it easy to replace?
its were some cooling hoses meet the throatle, just take it off and plate it.
