    hi im doin 4age ae92 conversion
    i was wondering if anyone could post a pic of the bracket they made for alternator or a good clear engine bay shot cheers

    also maybe a shot of what u did with water pump and hose that comes out of rear of it

    I made a custom bracket for mine so it sits on the exhaust side, I have pics in my worklog, see my signiture for that or I can post it on here

    ok i gonna sound like an idiot most probably.

    but why do you need to make a new bracket? blinky's is yours in the "stock location"? looks like it works where it is?

    ahh yepp i can see how the alternator could get in the way

    Works well, but is probably a bit close to the exhause manifold. i also had to use a daihatsu altenator, cos the 4ag one fouled on the extractors. I'd proabably flip it over if i was going to make one again (adjuster on the top) because you have to remove the altenator to take off or tighten the front bolt on the exhaust manifold. certainly not going to break in a hurry though!

    oh yeah and on a JDM engine, the altenator sits lower, as the water pump exits right where the altenator sits on a FWD engine.
