Well...
Someone just hit my car an hour ago in the parking lot here at the club. I'm standing at the door when one of the dancers tells me.. "Hey Chris!! Someone just hit your car in the parking lot!!" I ran to the door and nobody was there. She told me that the guy hit my car after going into the store and took off. I asked her if she had a description of the car and the guy that drove it. She said that she COULDN'T get the plate numbers, but that it was a dark colored older Honda. The guy was wearing a white t-shirt, white shorts with blue lining on the bottom, and black slippers and that he was bald and hispanic of origin. I accessed the damage of my poor 86 and noticed that the polymer/frp Goodline Shine rear bumper was cracked on the drivers side corner on the very edge (left here), and there was a small dent about the size of a small girls fist and about a half inch in. And to top that off, the tail light got cracked. It was about 5 minutes before I snapped out of my disbelief, and told the dancer to hop in the car. I was set to find this bastard.
She hopped in the car and i took off up the street. I figured since it is freezing outside and raining, that the guy had to be local by the description of the clothes he was wearing. I searched through some apartment's parking lots. At the second parking lot, I took notice of a dark green honda accord parked next to the appartment complex not even in a parking spot, but in the "No parking, Firelane" area. Then I looked to my right and noticed a guy pacing the mezzanine that matched the description exactly!!!! I told him to get his ass over here because this asshole hit my car! Just my luck, this asshole doesn't speak a lick of English. He walks away while i'm on the phone with the police operator and goes into one of the apartments. In about 6-8 minutes later, two officers pull up. It just so happens to be officers that frequent the club here that i work at.GAME ON!! The officer shines his flashlight on the window and spots the guy peering out and YELLS at him to come down. At this time a sherrif and another deputy from another city show up. The guy comes down with a shorter lady. The two officers are on the scene due to another matter... Domestic violence. It seems that this guy is super drunk and got into it with his lady, went to the store to cool off (buy more beer), hit my poor 86 in the process, then fled back with absolutely no recollection of ever hitting my car. The lady that came down with him was the owner of the green honda. Turns out that she does have insurance as well. THANK GOD. The dumb guy hands his drivers license to me and the insurance for the honda. While i jot down ALL of the information, this guy is rambling off to the police a bunch of stupid crap. The police officers then proceed to talk hella stupid crap to this guy and make fun of him in return while i continue to copy the information. (they were stalling for me) When i finnish, the lady officer tells him.. "SHUT THE HELL UP YOU DRUNK RETARD. IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO GO TO JAIL."
They put him in cuffs, read him his rights, and haul him away.
The damage was minimal. I have ALL the information. Time to have fun with it.
