hey guys.. jus wonderin wats the difference between 4agze waterpumps n 4age waterpumps. Is there any physical difference between the 2 ie length of the snout, pulley mount, shape, etc?
I'm not speaking from hands on experience here, but from what I hear:
- GE and GZE pumps for the same year engine will be the same.
- FWD and RWD pump bodies have different lengths
- FWD and RWD pulleys have different offsets
However the total length of RWD pump + RWD pulley = FWD pump with FWD pulley.
Other more expereinced hands can probably confirm or deny this.

Hen is right.. the FWD style pumps are all the same.. and the RWD pumps are all the same..
FWD pumps only use FWD pullies, and rwd use rwd pullies as they are different offsets..
they both pump the same amount of water.. the RWD ones are different as they have to deal with a fan hanging off the front.. if you use a fwd pump with a clutch fan.. it should die.. not over night.. but it will happen..
4ac pumps work right? rwd ofcourse! just swapping bits work
