At the start of the build I wanted to get this on the road as cheaply and quickly as possible.
Then some items appeared on the forum....
.... then they appeared at my place.

TRD adjustable shock based rear coilovers. A rare rear setup i couldn't pass on.
They currently have 7kg springs, but I'm thinking they will be too vicious for the road.
Anyone have a suggestion for comprise of street and track grip spring rate??
    4.5 rear? With 6kg Front?

And a FC front brake upgrade kit. Too cheap to miss out on.

So now this build is snowballing.
Anyway, on to fitting the rear coilovers.

Because these are a much shorter stroke than standard, the bump stop needs to be shortened to allow for travel. So off with 2 bumps...

While i was under the back, i also installed a TRD sway bar, Noltec PanHard rod and 3 braided brake lines.

The only thing missing in the rear end now is traction brackets.

    A wheel fitting...

    Perfect
Will give the guards a rolling too.

Now that I've got those brakes, time to finish the front coilovers...

I have two Kits to choose from. Just need some black paint and new shocks.

    Braided Clutch line..

Back on the ground its looking....

    DUMPED!!

currently rolling on 7kg coilover front and 4.5kg rear and its very bearable for my daily dom.
4.5 and 6 would be ideal for daily i think.

Cheers for the feed back Todd. Do you recon 4.5 and 6 will be hard enough for the track?

Just ask Matt (yellow 86) about his.

    I'm hanging to drive it.

im not sure, it might be an idea just to up it to 7kg and 5kg, the rear end of mine at 4.5 seems a little boaty/rolly sometimes, but its still not soft by any means. mine is exactly that, a dedicated daily. and dont really have plans to take it to the track just yet as alot needs to be upgraded etc, but if u intend of frequenting the track a bit more, u might even want to look into getting two pairs, like a 4kg for streeto and 5 for track.
but yeah, 4.5 does the job for me. might just have to chop and change til u find what suits i suppose lol.
