Hello all,
Have paid for a deposit on a white 82 ke70 and cant wait till thursday to go pick it up.
Now from what i can gather is that a new set of gas shocks with some springs out of a falcon au will sort out the rear end. But do i need to chopp/compress the spring or what to get the ride height, or is the spring small enough in the uncompressed state not to worry about it and just throw it in there.
What have people done?........
Now the front already has new shocks and super low king springs in it, but i was thinking of leaving it like so for a little while untill i get the hang of how to throw it around.
What i would like to know is... sigma lower control arm about -5 give or take, and corona lower control arm -2,-3 give or take.......true or not?
Now i have a work vehicle so i only plann to be driving this on the weekends, so increased tire wear is not a concern, but i would like to know peoples thoughts on each.
Stupid is as stupid does, but i have looked and cant find an answer...Will these lower control arms fit to the ke70 stock mounting points, and will the stock ke70 strut mount to the control arm? Or is that why you need the ae86 strut??
So if the sigma LCA fits to stock ke70 equippment, no worries, but if it doesnt what do i need to get to get my camber?
Also any other pointers or guides that could nudge me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated
.......Thursday is so far away....... and i still have to pay the rest of the money........ohh well........thats what its all about having a toy that u pour all your money into..... and then wonder all week at work what mod that this weeks pay will be spent on.............ahhhhhhhhhhhhh i cant wait
