Was the car running before you changed the clutch?
Hey Guys
Put in no new extreame drift clutch over the last two days. Finished the job today. Went to start the car and she wont go.
Sounded like she was getting no fuel.
I can tell that the pump is primming the fuel rail from a guage running off the rail. She primes all right but will not maintain pressure once the fuel pump has stopped.
It usually takes 5 or 10 mins for the pressure to drop.
Pressure will jump back up when I turn the car over though but I think the pump it having to work hard to maintain it though.
Jacked the car up to check the lines, all seem fine. Checked spark just to be sure its a fuel issue, fine.
Took a plug out then turned the car over again. No fuel vapor come out the spark plug hole.
So It seems to me that some thing is wrong with my injectors or not enough pressure is going to the injectors.
What do you guys think it is.<div align="left"> </div>
I should mention that this car has a microtech lt12x, surge tank and big bosch fuel pump.

yesss perfectly tunned dynoed the lot!
didn't listen for that will try tommorrow
If you cant hear them clicking, get a test light and earth it (duh its a test light) and then stick the prong down the plug on the injector and if the injector starts to click then you know its either injectors or wiring, may help you narrow it down a bit.
bump
i take it u pulled the fuel line off the motor at the rail? and tried turning it over? to see if fuel came out?
if its priming the line, then losing pressure, maybe its not turning back on? it primes then keeps constand pressure right? check to see if the pump is on after you try turning it over? test light on the pump power line should do.
what did u take off to get the box out? be exact now..
Pump works fine I can hear it loud and clear when I turn the car over.
I only took off the earths ect that were on the gear box nothing else. I stripped the electrical tape off the loom power wires to the injectors look fine so the computer isn't firing them. Maybe I bumped the earth. All earths running off the loom in the bay seem fine. May be the one running from the ecu in the car thats loose but how would I have bumped that changing the gear box? I don't know. I think the injectors are earthed through the ecu though. The computer turns on so I don't think thats possible.
Have you checked all your fuses? You might of blown one somehow.
yeah
