the car started and drove just had a leak in the box. the box was bolted up but with washes spacing it and the starter motor bolts up too. the clutch had a sticker on it saying 12170 if it means anything. will only need 1-2mm removed just want to know if it is ok??

wtf?? the box was spaced away from the engine using washers??

definately sounds like the dodgy way of using a ZE flywheel and clutch arrangement

    possibly...

pics would be a massive help

4agze flywheel wont fit inside a t50 bellhousing properly, Gze flywheel have the clutch pressure plate mounting points sticking out about an inch where as 4age 16v and 20v wheels have them flush with the gripping area.

Go and get bolts that are have a spherical head and use an allen key to tighten. That's how my gze flywheel and clutch fits into t-50 bellhousing.
