    Thumbs down

I've had this in 3 seperate cars now

using cut falcons, spring height anywhere between 200 up to 270mm (free) all held captive with short stroke shocks. sometimes when just installing them they will slip of the spring perch on the diff housing. other times they wait until i'm driving

now heaps of people run them and have success, why do mine always fkn pop out?!?!?!

at the moment they are actually installed upside down, as in the "flat" section is sitting on the diff and the pigtail up top. the weight of the car is squashing the pitail down to sit flat so it works, but its noisey (they creak)

    any ideas peoples??

Hold them in with some wire. May work, may not, worth a shot though.

hmmm so its more common than initially thought

flip em Grant. ithought they were noisey, they aren't its just my diff touching my under diff exhaust as the springs are a bit high

i havnt had that problem with my 86, but what i did with my old car was drill a couple of 1/8 holes and thread a bit of fencing wire around the bottom of the spring so it sits flat. sounds dodgy, but doesnt hurt.
