i am not really a fan of maxxis. also know what you are saying about the nexens. great for the rear.

what about federal 595s? they come in a 185/55? they are great.

that sucks! i was planning on grabbing a few pairs!

wouldnt be cheap importing them. how wide are the rims you using?
have you looked into the dunlop range.

i had a pair of 185/55 toyo trampios a few years back. (like 4 years) i was pretty sure toyo did something.

i have found that different states get different sizes. like nsw couldnt get 195/45 nankangs yet qld did. maybe try different distributers in different states. be cheaper than importing.
just email a whole heap of distributers, surley there has to be something decent in aus!

wheels are 14x8.5 -13

I'll see what I can find, but there currently no Falken ZE912 in Australia and Federal 595SS are discontinued. I don't know of any other good tyres in that size.

what sorta tyres should i be running on my 9's already have a new pair of komets with a 185/60 but wondering if they're too small? or shall she be right?

185/60 is good on a 9. I wouldn't go bigger

i am not a fan and do not recomend falken tyres.
i ran the ze912s on the front of mine for a day. half way through the day u put them on the rear and they delaminated. they were brand new.
