Hey all doing an oil swap for my box of gears this weekend just after some facts.
Heard Auto fluid is the best way to go, and after doing some searching on the site ive heard DEXTRON 3 quite alot.
This is auto fluid correct?
Im guessing this is ok to purchase from supercheap or repco etc?
Main reason im changing the oil is i think the gearbox could benifit from a thinner oil.
Also how do you guys tell when your gearbox is full, last time i did it i just filled it up through the shifter, left the top filler nut from the box off, and once oil started to drip from there i figured it was full.
Anyone got any reasons why that shouldnt be done?
Also 1.7lt correct?
Any other tips you guys have would be great
