Just wondering how hard it is to change over a water pump on a 4ac. Is it just a matter of draining the coolant, undoint the bolts, taking the water pump out, bolting up the new water pump with appropriate sealant and gasket and filling back up with coolant. Would it be a good idea to change over the thermostat while im at it.

    Cheers.

its pretty easy.. just make sure u clean all surfaces of the old gaskets and stuff so that theres no leaks.. use a light light sandpaper to sand over the old gaskets until shiney metal and use gaskets and sealant not to much just to secure the gasket.!

its easy as just seal it good and also check if the metal fitting the goes in to the pump housing is not leaking if it is you will need to replace the rubber oring the sits around it and seal it up with gasket stuff.

    Cheers.
