I still havent finished dialling the dampners in how I want them yet. But there is a shitload more potential for corner speed now, and its ALOT more predictable, I'm still finding where the new limits are though.

If you really want to focus on hills runs i'd say get softer springs, but the 6/8kg combo will work ok.

At the moment ive got it set to have a little more oversteer than what you would want for a proper grip setup.

Anyway, I started on the hardest setting (fully clockwise),and moved down to about 3 full turns from full hard. But I'm still playing with it from there.

A half turn changes the way it handles pretty dramatically.

Il let you know what I end up going with.

Hey, have you cut the strut down on the front? What OD are the springs?

Did you have any issues with the rim/tyre fouling on the coilover springs?

I haven't cut the strut. But I bought these coilovers second hand (near new) so I didnt put them together or anything, so they may have been cut down, but I'm not sure. I didnt check the OD on the springs when I put them in, I can check if you really want to know though.

The wheels dont foul at all on the strut or spring, I'll check how much clearance there is tommorow.

Thats right, when I went driving with you on Mt D I didnt have second gear did I!
All fixed now but I've given up clutch kicking!

Looking Awesome James....aside from the damage...

I love the rims/new suspension, looks heaps better now.
We'll have to go for a drive soon, let me know when you get new rear tyres, otherwise I'll talk to you after I get over this massive pile of assignments.
