I like them... I have their latest album, which I love. To be honest i didn't really like 'This Ain't a Scene' as a song, so there you go. I can understand what they are saying, although I have listened to the album a fair bit so i know the words.

And don't go calling me an emo kid either, cause I'm not, k?

emo's the lot of ya. do any of the fall out boy songs have any meaning to them?? they just sound like gibberish put together with a catch musical backing

Depends on which song, most of them have a subtext behind the words. Most of them involving crappy/cheating girlfriends, lost love, good times, bad times...

Track 7 on their new album is about a one night stand/makeup sex with a cheating partner.

Track 2 describes how crappy a person he is compared to other people the girl might like, but he's the better bet ('Wouldn't you rather be a widow/Than a divorcee' is guess says that he will around till the end, rather then until when she decides he's crap).

Track 11 is a cool sounding song with a catchy beat, about a break up of a relationship that ends with them not being friends ('Best friends/Ex-friends to the end/Better off as lovers/And not the other way around'). Also has a cool bit around racing in the city in yellow checkered cars.

They have a lot of cool lines in their songs, which are relevant to the song, but are cool when said by theselves:

I couldn't bring myself to call/Except to call it quits
