ive got a 4AGE bigport in a AE86 and i also have a SAFC layin around that i was thinkin bout puttin in ,
has anyone done this? or would there be any signifficant gain bein N/A? or would it be a waste of time?im not quite sure so im hoping theres someone on here thats done it and also in the wiring diagram for the SAFC it says to put the wires from the airflow meter into the SAFC then into the computer but my motor doesnt use a airflow meter so just wondering how ud go about that aswell....

well for one u could lean it out a tad cos 4age's run quite rich from the factory so u will gain a bit of power from that. im actually looking at getting one down the track but safc 2 neo. theres some supplier that sells them for a touch over $400 but the only thing thats a let down is it doesnt have an environment adjuster ie. no safc automatically adjusts the tune depending on weather altitude conditions
yerr i get ya well wot i might do is hook it up accordingly and see the outcome and let u know the difference if its a substantual gain and worth doin ill let ya know but if it dont really change anything then ud be wasting ya money but since i already have 1 here i mayaswell do it
that would be sick if u could do that. though i intend to use one for a turbo application so either way ill need one
well thats why i got it cos im planning a turbo conversion in the next 6 months but after thinkin it through i might just go a full after market computer, im just waitin to get this motor bak from gettin machined cos ive done a full rebuild to freshen it up after i spun 2 bottom end bearings , i was gonna build the turbo motor straight away but i still gotta re regester it and pass R/W so its prolly best just to have a standard lookin 4AGE in there rather than one with a TD05 hangin off the side hehehe ahh well should get it bak in the next week or so then its all good, will keep ya posted
