My sprinter has central locking on it. It was like that when i bought it. Could this be a factory setup or most likely an aftermarket one cos i would like to get another remote for it.

ive never heard of a sprinter having central locking from factory, my guess is its aftermarket. its gonna be very difficult getting a replacement remote for an aftermarket kit. are you sure its remote central locking anyway?

one option you have is to buy a remote central locking kit and use the actuators that are in the doors already. saves having to mount them in the doors. or you could get an alarm to control the central locking.

you should be able to install a proper alarm and interface it with your old center locking, its quite likely that you could just unplug your module and just plug it straight in.

you should be able to get another remote coded to your system... would it be possible for you to post up a pic of how the central locking solenoids are mounted... i'm trying to fit mine and can't find a place to put them.
