hey guys ive got a screw on lock spacer and was just wondering whether i had to remove the inner tie rods from the boot and install it there?
where exactly do i install it? sorry for the stupid question
Thanks
hey mate,
the lock spacer has to bolt to the end of the actual rack...
so yes, you need to take off the inner tie rod...
AJPS Extra Lock Spacers
Fitting Instructions
Unbolt both tie rod ends
Bolt the screw-in lock Spacer on PASSENGER side of steering rack ONLY
With tie-rods off turn lock-to-lock and count the turns
Then half that amount and turn the wheel from full lock to the half-way point
Your rack will now be centered
Now bolt your tie rod ends back on using loc-tite or similar
Get a wheel alignment
