Yes I am aware of the fibreglass ones from that guy on here.

I am however wondering if there is such thing as repair panels for the rear wheelarches of KE70s, my shell is pretty good rust wise apart from the rear arches, which are stuffed. To make room for some decent rims and rubber they'll need lipping up and with the state they're in its not really a possibility.
I'd like to stay with metal as much as possible.

    Otherwise, ideas on fixing them?

Take the car to a panel shop, along with a lot of money, and tell them to fix the rust and flare the guards. They should cut out the rust, weld in new panels than flare the rust free quarter. Will cost a lot though... unless if you are handy with a welder and bog, or know of someone.

Another couple of options is to get those fibreglass repair kits, and put more fibreglass onto them in order to pump them out... or buy another shell. Which isnt as crazy as it sounds

^^ panel beaters arent that expansive. the expense comes if you want them to colour match your current paint and paint the effected areas. but if you take it too them and say fix this and just put it in primer they are pretty reasonable on price.

still expensive though when you consider how much a new ke70 can be get for

Depends what your idea of expensive is i suppose.

I say that if the rust is THAT bad, i cant really comment since i havent seen the car, Just get a new nice condition shell then you have your old shell for parts! which you will undoubtedly need!

Not that hard to do the engine swap etc if it is all setup for a ke70, and ti also gives you a chance to polish up the loose ends
