i would say it has some sort of a miss.

Start at your basics like spark plugs, leads, rotor button, dizzy cap coil,

Id deff start by throwing in a set of new plug (depending on how old they are)

It sounds like every other car i deal with day in day out

    Just the usual things:
Take 4 spark plugs out and comp. test the motor.
Look at spark plugs, get new ones.
Check reistance of plug leads and coil etc.
    Check fuel pressure.
    Pressure test the radiator.
Put hand near exhaust tail pipe and see if steam forms on you hand.
    check ignition timing
check that timing belt is put in right.
    O2 and knock sensors installed?

O2 sensor wont do jack shit nor will a knock. O2 it will only run richer but not a noticable amount. Knock sensor it may detonate a bit but you would hear that.

i didn't take that into consideration.. but would a blocked air filter really do that much?.. from a nice revvy engine to an engine that feels like a 4ac?.. not trying to be a smartass SAMQ.. i've read ur 20v guides! really helpful!

if its blocked enough yes, but it shouln't happen that sudden i would think, you never know though. Heres what you can do:

take the air filter right out and go for a drive (a short one!), how much of a difference there is shows how restricted it is. Doing it when its wet weather is good too, low chance of engine damage- no dust.

ALso I just has a brainwave on what would make your car act exactly as it does, does your car have a cat converter?

also good to hear you found my guides usefull, I like to get feedback from people

nothing kills the perofmance suddenly like a cat that has just collapsed, I highly recomend taking your exhaust system apart and see if you can see though your cat. Or if you dont want to do that crawl under and tap the cat with your knuckles, if it makes a rattling sound like somethings loose insdie then thats your problem with there. What do you think?

A warped head shouldnt effect your power
