Hey everyone!

Been on here awhile now so thought I'd post up my project car!

Car:
ae85 toyota trueno
black, white, silver

Engine:
3sgte
Garrett GT3040R turbocharger

Driveline:
W58 supra gbox
lightened flywheel
MS112 crown diff
No lsd as yet..

Suspension:
agx shocks, eibach springs, coilovers all round
Lots of rosejoints + some nolothane bushings

Brakes:
R33 skyline rotors and calipers front and rear
R33 skyline master cylinder + booster

Other stuff:
Wolf3d v400
Full rewire in progress with fusebox in glovebox
Dash from ae92 levin
Sound deadening removed
Stitch welded
Bride style bucket seats

I bought the car in May 2004, been working on it ever since! Only a uni student - thats why the project is taking so long - having to stop work on your car to work more to get money is a bitch.

Fitted rear diff + found 16" rims that clear brakes:


This was my old project engine - 4agze with hks gtss turbocharger (I'm convinced that this turbo is the ultimate for a 4a - waiting for the new owner to get it running and prove me right!)


This is the current engine: - 3sgte with garrett gt3040r - soon to be changed to a smaller gt3076r

Looking good mate, as said in my thread i think that turbo is just too big, but you'll figure it out. Also, whys it mounted on such an angle?!? $$$ is a big big part of a 3s conversion, anyone thinking of doing this conversion with other necessary upgrades (brakes etc.) think of a price you'll do it for and triple it and you'll nearly be there as a rough guess, mines already 3x my original guess! But we do ti for the love of it hey?!?

looks like a pretty mad project

just one question though, why did you bother rewiring everything? wouldn't it have been easier to just modify what was already there to stick your new engine in?
