i have done this a few times, best to replace the timing belt while the engine is out

Try higher octane fuel and set the timing to 20btdc. Then you will feel the difference.

Although id have to say, and i dont know why but the adm ecu to me feels smoother, well the ones i have used, with the jdm feeling lumpier.

Definately more top end with JDM ecu thou.

And yes JDM-086, adm short motor, straight swap.
