My car has an AE92 smallport 4age, JDM bellhousing and ADM T50 gearbox-
So when I am ordering a clutch kit, should I be looking at ae92, jdm ae86, or adm ae86 clutch kits.

Also-would anyone be able to tell me what pricing is like for say an exedy heavy duty clutch from where you bought it (i'm in qld).

    Thanks

they should all be the same as they use the same 200mm flywheel

20v and ze have difernt size flywheels, but the 16v series are the same.

Johnny will clarify this or highlight some differences between them all via his naked female technical databse call centre

They will all be the same, importantly same flywheel (as Gilly said). Love it when Toyota parts are all interchangeable

In ae86fow's and my clutch swap we used the same clutch (Exedy heavy duty), mine an ADM 4AC and his a JDM 4AGE Levin. I have heard of the same kit working on a similar setup as yours, but I meant its all the same anyways

Can't be sure on retail price for them, ours we got dead cheap Last I saw on here was about the $300 mark, which seems about right.
4AGE is here! Cheers 44GTE and Anthony for your help! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/fo...ad.php?t=10384

I disagree. I think a smallport will have had a 212mm flywheel on it from factory (just checked the Xtreme catalogue, and it gives a late AE92 as 215mm clutch).

But it all depends what flywheel you are running now. It would probably be best to drop the box and measure it up before ordering.

    200mm diameter clutch face = 4AGE from AE86, AE82, early AE92 or other 200mm clutch.
    215mm dia. = late AE92 4AGE or any 20V

Does this mean that the 215mm clutch as listed in the Xtreme catalogue is intended to be fitted to a 212mm flywheel? (with 1.5mm overhang)

For some reason I thought that flywheel/clutch sizes were designed in inches.

    Thus Bigport 4AGE = 8" = 203.2mm
    20V and later model 4AGE = 8.5" = 215.9

    Sounds about right.

    Yeah, I think it's 8" gets called 200mm, 8.5" is 212/215 and 9" is 225 for the ZE.

The whole 212 vs 215mm thing I think depends on who you ask. I'd hazard a guess that the measurements can be used interchangeably. I certainly do.

So Xtreme 215 clutch will fit a 212 flywheel.
