I costed it out and went the CA18 path rather than the GZE+T and w5x conversion.

also has anyone used the 1GGZE supercharger on there 4agze is this a good upgrade as its ment to flow alot better then the stock gze one

so you put a ca in your ae86 rather then the gze, what made you decide to do that, just because of cost or was there other deciding factors
guy on here (bahnugget) is good mate of mine, and we are currently about half way through CA18 into his ae86. i think the main reason for goin nissan was cheap power. and a stock ca18/sr20 will go crazy awesome in a ae86 cause they are so light, dont really need to upgrade the engine much
so engine is kept relatively stock = we figured better reliability.
t50 prolly wont handle too much punishment before youll need to go a W box. but with CA18/sr20 convo you get a gearbox that will handle the power with no trouble.
sr20 is a bit complicated as it involves "remodelling" of the transmission tunnel. but CA18 just slips straight in.
engine mount/gearbox conversion "kits" to fit them in are available for about 500$, custom tail shaft 400$, youll have to get a decent diff (tarago/hilux). costing like 1000$ or so,
so for about 2000$ + cost of engine, you pretty much have a CA18/gearbox/decent diff in your car bolted in, waiting for wiring and fuel system.
obviosly its not as simple as that, but you get the general overview of pricing.
ps- im not bagging 4agze conversion, im just looking at both sides.

but i already have a sr20 in my sil and am looking at something a bit different so i will go the 4agze route i think as it will still produce the power i want

what are some mods i can do, more then the fmic, pod, exhaust, more boost to get more power out of it apart from looking at the larger supercharger which is a possibility

yeah i always did plan on getting a tune, almost ready to start this project it will be happening very soon if the other car sells as planed and i will post up my progress
