5 speed ke70's are hard to find.
most 5 speed corollas from that time are actually ae71's which are better cars/bases to start with anyway...but more expensive.
for max of $550 you might need to settle for a 4 speed manual.

I've tried the Quokka but they dont have much in there these days
and everyone i've looked at is busted! or eitha their asking to much for its condition
so basically I'm just looking for one in good condition, running, liceasened and 5 Speed OR 4 Speed!

was after a series one! but is it easy to convert the slanted eye'd AE71 headlights to a series one?
i read one the forums somewhere that its a straight swap?

I got myself a 1981 Corolla! yes! series one =] haha
i bought it off a lady who owned about several of them! in Dianella
she was asking 550 but it had a broken window and it wasnt running due to electrical problems =[
the fuse box under the dash near the gas pedal set alight and its all gone =[
oh well... haha
Atm Family/Frends/Me are stripping it down to get rid of rust and to rewiring everything
