SOrry is this is a dumb question...
but if I can fit wider tyres (205) on a 15x6 and narrower tyres (195) on 15x7..
what advantage is there of getting 7" over 6"? Why not save some $ by getting the narrower wheel, with the wider tyre?
Also what does FTL mean?
And Wahts FTW mean? I see that thrown around alot on the forums![]()
FTL = For the Loss - bad;
FTW = For the Win = Good.
Originally (when it first started being used) I thought it meant f*ck the world... had to ask my clan mate what it meant at the time. Now everyone uses it, even in normal conversation![]()
For the record, I run 14*7 185/60 and they rock. Stock steering, sport AJPS suspension, 4AC, not a problem. Plus I have an ultra small MOMO steering wheel.
Remember, the larger the profile of the wheel, the larger the overall radius of each wheel will, be, plus the added weight and pressure onto the ground via the contact patch. The less profile, less weight, pressure and overall size of the wheel. The width is more to do with grip, other factors influence the lightness of the steering.
