    true in some cases

however i installed corona arms and dialled my camber tops to 2* previoulsy they were maxxed out on stock LCA's meaning i was now running more track and less camber than before and steering was lighter.

the closer together your wheels are via offset or track the harder they are to steer.

my ke with 165/70 13's with ghey stock pos offset rims were very close steering wise to what i have now, being sigma's, p/s arms, quick rack.

i don't over ly know the reasoning, well not enough to form a legible explanation but it is true

SOrry is this is a dumb question...
but if I can fit wider tyres (205) on a 15x6 and narrower tyres (195) on 15x7..
what advantage is there of getting 7" over 6"? Why not save some $ by getting the narrower wheel, with the wider tyre?

    Also what does FTL mean?
And Wahts FTW mean? I see that thrown around alot on the forums

i went from stockies to 7 inch front not long ago with 195's on them. The guys are right its actually better and lighter. might have to do with the quality or wieght of the wheels also.

    tyre flex
u might as well buy 195/60/r14

i think offset is more important. i use to have 15x7 +11 and it was easy to park, but now i got 15x7 0et and gotta use more force when parking (using the same tyre btw)...

+ it would look kinda ghey with 15x6 and 205/50

also if ur finding stocker hard to turn then go to gym?

    FTL = For the Loss - bad;
FTW = For the Win = Good.

Originally (when it first started being used) I thought it meant f*ck the world... had to ask my clan mate what it meant at the time. Now everyone uses it, even in normal conversation

For the record, I run 14*7 185/60 and they rock. Stock steering, sport AJPS suspension, 4AC, not a problem. Plus I have an ultra small MOMO steering wheel.

Remember, the larger the profile of the wheel, the larger the overall radius of each wheel will, be, plus the added weight and pressure onto the ground via the contact patch. The less profile, less weight, pressure and overall size of the wheel. The width is more to do with grip, other factors influence the lightness of the steering.

    FTW

    ^^ and a quick rack

    [/b][/quote]

    Have both, plus 16x7in Simmons....

Yea its alot "harder" to turn, but in honest, who cares. Just have to put in a bit more muscle to move around car parks..... or use the rear wheels to help turn....

Maybe you have the wrong car if you are worried about low speed parking manoeuvres.

Modifying will always come with compromises.

I have 14x7s with 0 offset all round on my car.
On the front i have 195/60s and on the rear i have 175/65s.
With a 320mm steering wheel i dont find steering hard at all, if you find it hard to park you need to learn that dry steering probly isnt too good for your car anyways, just roll a few cms while you turn the steering wheel.

If you can fit the same tire on both wheels i know id go for the better looking wheel, seeing i assume thats the only reason you want to buy them
