    that's another type of letter box grill, think it came outa the 83 model levins. face isnt a clear plastic so no foggies included, I'm not sure if this one is the one that flips into the vented grill(like the aus sprinter grills) when u reach high speeds. hope that helps.

    Ive actually heard that the flip is controlled by a thermostatic switch in the radiator that triggers it to open when the radiator reaches a certain temperature. Not 100% sure on that though

    sure is, ask ozdunker i think he has a few of theese, he showed me how it works when he was buying my wheels off me, his wasnt hooked up to the thermostatic switch though very fascinating

    Sure does. Mine doesn't have twincam 16 on the flip though it's just black.

    As everyone has said, this grille is from the AE86 Levin Apex model from 8305-8505. Early model Levin Apex. The top picture shows the grille open. The "Twincam 16" badge is standard.

    You can see here, the lower radiator hose is in two parts with a metal T piece inbetween. Two small water hoses run from this to the thermostat which has a lever and opens the grill.

    The GTV and all other models had the normal grill like the Australian one.
