    honestly...

stick with a brand new car like a proton or a hyundai..

they are more reliable and good on petrol not to mention theyre at a good price...

ask your mom to aid you with the financing
    pair rusty trueno guards
    2x trueno headlights
    pair trueno guard indicators
    rally zenki trueno front bumper
    kouki trueno front bumper
    zenki flip grill
    2x trueno grill
    pair zenki ae86 seats

    RUST ---***
    PRICE --- ***

Other than that most of the things can be fixable. Anyway, you are starting your own project.
You are buying a shitbox by paying farking unreasonable price for an reaonable ordinary person.
So, you should enjoy paying money and having troubles and sharing experiences with your 86 mates around.

    heres my 2c..
    buy a s13..
to set up a hachi newhere near good enough to slide well you will have to pump stupid ammounts of $$ into it..
the s13 comes out the fatory with excellent power, LSD and very well balanced shell. get some decent suss in it and your laughing.. all this is achievable for around 8-9k easy..

as for a spponta... lucky to find a rust filled shit box stock one for around the 3-4k, whack a 4age in... 2 or so more grand depending on all the variables... suspension 2k depending on which way you want to go about it.. LSD one grand... cant see how neone can justify spending all this money on a corolla unless its a dedicated slider...
