Yes, I have done a search, are AE82 and AE71 wheels the same offset, or close to it? (I know they're different PCD)
    Cheers,

im pretty sure that ae82 being FWD will have "FWD offset" which im pretty sure is fairly high (30+)? where as you want ae71 to be as close to zero as possible for mag wheels anyway.

having said that, stock ae71 is about +27 (thats ae86, must be pretty close) so anything lower than that will fit fine

Yeah, they are a different stud patterns. ae82 is 4x100, ae71 is 4x114.3. what are you trying to do exactly?

Seeing how many parts from my Twinky could be "re-cycled" (into an AE71) when she runs out of rego. next. I am pretty sure with a bit of mixing and matching with the front struts and re-drilling at the rear, I could utilise the Twinky front brakes (would be an upgrade, I'm sure) and wheels. That is assuming the offset is similar (which doesn't seem it is) oh, well.

you would have quite a bit of trouble trying to fit the twinky brakes, you'd be better off going for a JDM sprinter upgrade. this would probably work out cheaper overall.

twin cam front struts and ae71 struts are completly different, i cant see what mixing and matching could be done.

i agree with andy, jdm discs and callipers are definetly the better way to go for a good upgrade
