Just wondering why everyone has such a winge about turbo'd 86's.

i've noticed it in members rides and other threads.

we all have sprinters but geezus theres a lot of wingers on the forum, it's like its a ford vs holden thing.

the japs do it, what will there reply be to mr adm san tellin him his turbo 86 is shit, maybe laugh in mr adms na's face.

we all have 86's cos we love them, why is there problems with power choice.

interesting to see how this thread goes.

i love both na and turbo, after having both power types i was happy with both. but it came down to money spent to get power and ca was the way to go for me and i love it. each to there own.

ontopic: i dont really care on how the car/sprinter is powered... but if i was to build one i would do n/a 4age, but thats just me...

I dont believe the engine makes the car.

I believe the body, the driver and his style (both driving style and car styling) makes the car.

Turbo motors are not genuine AE86 hardware because Takumi did not drive one. As soon as a turbo is added to a Sprinter it immediately loses its Takumi powers and just becomes yet another one of the cars that are beaten on the Mt Akuna downhill. I've even heard that any panda paintjob will disappear and the pop-up headlights will revert to standard ADM ones.

Needless to say, the tofu delivery stickers on the side do not have their +20rwkw effect on a turbo motor.

IMHO the sprinters dont need the kinda power that forced induction gives unless u want a tyre shredder or struggle to get it sideways.

leo..the cup of water..is so u can go round corners twice as fast..thats why taks dad put 1 there so he can go up n down quicker and go back to sleep coz he has to go to school in the morning

i have 1 in mine all the time..dries up after a few days though

on topic..i dont care if its NA or turbo..depends on ppls preferences what they wanna do..its their car
