if you do it yourself its worth it!

someone will have a cheap gearbox for you, and then just raid a ke70 at the wreckers for the rest, get a new clutch, clutch cable/pedal box/tailshaft all from the wreckers.

sure its not gonna be a walk in the park, but for 200$ in parts i cant see how its not worth it?

4k is slow enough in manual, auto must be pitiful...

id just research alil bit more then.

with a 4age transplant you will need a hydraulic clutch instead of a cable one.

if your hellbent on going manual, why not dump a 4AC in there? that way when you do go 4AGE it will be apeice of cake.

you know ke70s are so cheap you may be able to get one for a few hundred if its rusted. Then just swap everything over, because if you just try and source all the parts you might find the bill will be very exepnsive indeed.

ke70 manual is pretty much the same amount of work as a ke70 auto, get a ae71 man and its pretty much bolt in

so if i got a AE71 it would be alot easier to change from auto to manual. Is that what your saying?

my advice is as seeknsqueek sais

stick a 4ac in there, it will cost you a fair bit more than changing your car to manual, but a stock 4ac poops all over a stock 4k

you will have to save (prolly looking at approximately 600$ in parts to change to 4ac manual)

but its alot closer to 4age, and 4ac's can actually had fun in

im in the middle of putting 4ac in my ke70, so if you want any more info im more than happy to chat to ya on msn or something
