Over 1.5 month ago i blew the head gasket!
was going to chemi-weld it, or replace the head...etc.
then i got a 4AC cheap off a mate.
so about a month ago, the the help of a couple of mates i replaced
the blown boat anchor with a freshish one.
transferred the Weber, and electronic ignition. and its running sweet.
the transplant took about 18hrs to do, as this was the first time either myself or my mates had ever attempted an engine swap.
all in all a good learning experience.
here are a few pics.
milky goodness
blown boat anchor
don't know what i was doing up the back...
DAMO's crane...cheers mate!
bolt on mod, good for 20hp
after almost 2hrs pushing and pulling, we got it out!
empty....
