Howdy guys, just wondering if AE86 front springs will fit the KE70 struts?

Yup they should, can't say from experience cause I've had nearly everything but ke70 struts in my ae71 lol. But yeah I don't have any reason to beleive they don't.

Get a tap measure out, the spring seat should be about 5" in diameter (ie same as the spring) for it to be the same.

They definitley don't fit, you will need 86 struts.

Put some gear oil in your front shocks if your going to be runnin those falcons I gave you, it looked fairly bouncy the other night.

What I mean is thicker oil, ie, gear oil 80w 90 or 85w 140.

New strut tubes will not help you rid yourself of the sloppiness in your suspension.

Ae86 struts will give you bigger brakes and a lot more options for shock / spring combinations.

XT130 struts will give you even bigger brakes still but will put your suspension geometry slightly out of whack and still give you a few more options for shocks / some springs.
You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?

use ra40 struts cause they are the same as ae86 ones I heard, that way you can use your ae86 springs, plus you get slightly bigger brakes.
