Hey guys.
Just looking round at oil filter relocation kits, most have tapped fitting holes. I know oil pressure can be picked up from there but where can oil temp be picked up from.
Also would an 5 puck heavy duty be practical for a daily? Or would an organic plate be more suitable?
Any help would be great. Thanks guys

Ahh gillysan to the rescueSo then all I have to do is run the different filter that corresponds to that kit?
Pity you suck on my other question. Anyone else?
Bump, help with gauge sender and clutch question. Pleeeeaaaassseeeeee.
well some sandwich plates that go onto the block have to holes to allow for both oil prssure and temp.
the temp gauge should just have a small sender that you can fit, same style as the pressure sender.
id get a full face clutch set up for daily use. a heavy duty pressure plate will be ok. but to kake it a little more friendly you will also want a sprung centre
filet is the same altho ca sr rb have bigger ones all the same thread pattern tho.
yes mos sandwitch plates have holes allowing for oil pressure/temp.
regarding clutch, it depends how hardcore you are, I've have a 5 puckker button in mine which has been rebuilt and id definatly say if you live near traffic lights it's a no go.
the thread pattern for a 4age is 3/4-16 thread, which is the same as ca, sr etc which the others have said.
5puk is fine. haven't had a traffic drama with mine. Love it
I see, might just go with the organic plate with a decent pressure plate, anyone recommend a poundage?. Driving to and from my missus house and going to work is mayhem traffic wise.
Also so oil temp can definately be picked up from the sandwich plate? Doesn't have to have a sump sender or anthing.
Not all sandwich plates are threaded for senders, though you could always put a tap through somewhere appropriate.
And following on from another thread on puck clutches recently, if it is a daily driver, don't get any sort of puck drive plate.
