Some pics I took at Honjo circuit drift day last weekend.
Also some pics from the Shino Kouba workshop.

Shino's hachi roku. It's a Levin with AE111 motor. The engine is mostly normal but with direct fire ignition and ECU to suit. Rev limit is 9500rpm, it's a strong motor! Springs are about 8/6kg, it's got a half cage and a few other basic mods. I rode with Shino and the car feels great, it has stacks of grip, very solid feeling body and good power. Shino's driving is very neat with an excellent line. Her speed and angle are also very good. She was practicing braking drift and adjusting the cars settings most of the day.

Old school turbo GZE setup, extra injectors and stuff. Didn't look like it had super power but it drifted well . Turbo appeared to be T25G.

    Maeda Ken's D1 Hachi

Another 20V powered car, this one using stock dizzy etc still unlike Shino's direct fire setup.

Mean looking engine, this car sounded sweet and won the best drift of the day.

Grip car, rear mounted rad, not sure what engine it was running but it sounded like a 4A still.

Random car I saw down the road, AE86s are common on the roads around here, I've seen maybe 10 now.

One of Shino's mechanics cars. He kindly put the front bumper on for me to take a photo. It's almost done, he was fabbing up side pipes for it when I saw it.

    The end.

    Nice pics dude!

I've'e seen your vid/s on youtube from the land of the rising sun, do you work over there or live there?

How were you able to get in with the scene and find the racing circuits, I'm interested as I've'e heard it's quite hard.

I live and work here, I know a few people, once you go to a few days I guess you get to know some people.
My Japanese is rudimentary at best right now, hopefully as time goes on my skills will get better and I'll get to know more people.
Sorry I know SFA about Ken's rear end, I can ask though. From memory the IRS is full custom, if I was going to make an IRS I'd use an R200 diff, they probably did to.

Garage Thrash sell them, they have a variety of prints.
    Black, Zebra, Leopard etc.

    EDIT:
Yay and a vid I took, does anyone know how to embed Youtube vids on forums that don't accept the built in embed code?
